Guys, this has been my favourite book of 2017!
The Weight of Lies has the perfect balance of intrigue and suspense. It's perfect for fans of Alfred Hitchcock's.
Former party girl Meg is the daughter of an acclaimed crime author mother, known for her creepy cult murder novel (think Psycho). Meg searches out the hotel that inspired her mother's famous novel and whilst doing so unearths the biggest secret of all.
This novel is bursting with suspense, drama, desire and betrayal. The setting is both haunting and mesmerising (if you watched The Affair, imagine the Montauk) whilst also captivating the sometimes claustrophobic nature of life off the grid.
Super creepy and completely unpredictable. I will be recommending this book to everyone!
